About the study

• The Study

   

  In the spring of 2012, the Village of Mannsville applied for and was awarded a NYS Local Government Efficiency (LGE) Grant to proactively study governance and service options for the community. A committee appointed by the Village Board completed a Dissolution Study and Plan.

• The Committee

   

  The process is being overseen by a study committee comprised of residents from the Village of Mannsville and the Town of Ellisburg. The Center for Governmental Research (CGR) will be assisting the study committee. CGR is a nonprofit management consulting organization with expertise in government management, public finance and municipal consolidation processes.
