Village of Mannsville

Incorporated in 1879, the Village of Mannsville is located along route 81 in the Town of Ellisburg in Jefferson County. According to the 2010 census, the Village of Mannsville had a total population of 354 and the Town had a total population of 3474. The Village covers 0.9 square miles and the Town covers 86.6 square miles.

Faced with a small population and a limited operating budget, the Village of Mannsville wants to explore all the ways it can improve government efficiency while decreasing the burden on taxpayers. A Village of Mannsville Dissolution Study, Plan and Alternatives to Dissolution will investigate options to reduce the cost of government and will contain practical recommendations that can be implemented and sustained.
