About the study

  • The Process

     

    The Village of Hoosick Falls has initiated a study of dissolution and alternatives to dissolution. The study process is expected to take approximately 6-to-10 months, and will examine local government structure and services. The objective is to provide critical information for residents and officials to make informed decisions about the future of the Village.

  • The Study Committee

     

    The process is being overseen by a study committee of Town and Village residents, with assistance from the Center for Governmental Research (CGR), a nonprofit management consulting organization with expertise in government management, public finance and municipal consolidation processes.
