About the process
On November 8, 2011, Princeton Borough and Township voters approved a ballot measure to consolidate their two municipalities. The merger, which will produce a single municipality of Princeton, will take effect on January 1, 2013. During calendar year 2012, a Transition Task Force of Borough and Township representatives will work to implement the consolidation.
