About the study

In February 2010 all nine Ontario County Boards of Education agreed to pursue a study in order to explore how regional high schools and/or regional collaborations could save tax-payer dollars and expand educational opportunities. W–FL BOCES applied for and received a NYS Department of State Local Government Efficiency Program High Priority Grant to fund the study. In the spring of 2011, the nine Superintendents and W–FL BOCES engaged the Center for Governmental Research to conduct the study.

The study will be conducted over an eight-month period with a report scheduled to be released in May 2012.
