About the study

• The Process

   

  The Village of Dryden has initiated a police department reduction/discontinuation study to proactively assess the potential of restructuring the Village of Dryden Police Department. The process will take approximately eight months and will only evaluate the police service. The study will generate operational, governance and fiscal impacts intended to provide detailed information for the community to make an informed decision about the future of the police department.

• The Study Committee

   

  The process is being overseen by a study committee of Village Officials and residents, with assistance from CGR, a nonprofit management consulting organization with expertise in government management, public finance and municipal consolidation processes.
